Unreal is COMING for Unity Developers! YARRR!
1,366Traditionally Epic Games haven't really directly targeted Unity developers, even during the time of troubles. This week though, Unreal Engine went after Unity developers in a big way with a new game project created in both Unity and Unreal Engine, with accompanying documentation that explains how experience Unity developers can migrate over to UE 5.6. This is the most direct attempt by Unreal to woo Unity developers that I have yet seen.
That said, even if you are a Unity developer that has no interest in migrating to Unreal, the project is available on Fab and is a great learning experience. Similarly, if you are using Unreal Engine, its available on Fab and is also a good best practices learning experience.
