9Best of all, maybe this is actually intended! I could argue that a poor attempt at building something produces poor results early in the process, thereby allowing a person to see that it's a poor attempt and handling it before the attempt is finished. That itself doesn't explain why it doesn't consume the item, although really now, it shouldn't take a block of wood, eight of which are produced from an entire tree trunk, to build a single cup that isn't even one pound heavy. SO I think I'm okay on both ends.
