Unused Game Content ~ PokoNyan! Yume no Daibouken ポコニャン!夢の大冒険 Super Game Boy ATTRC_EN 01
ATTRC_EN: Attraction Enable
Normally if OBJ_TRN is used, system border attract mode is disabled. This command might have been planned to have been implemented after it was decided not to use OBJ_TRN mode and the SOUND command loaded right after ICON_EN was likely the original place and might have been swapped in place of this command at an unknown time during development. If OBJ_TRN is enabled, this function is unnecessary. Maybe the developers did not know?
Still need to create that mock-up image of the SNES OBJ_TRN title logo. Still need to finish other projects. Still need to take care of real life priorities. Still need to quit being lazy.
Game Genie codes would restore this function 89F-3FB-5DB + 58F-40B-D57. The bit setting is 01, disabling all border screensavers. The unused commands are located at 0x021889 are the two unused commands.

There might be one more Pokonyan video depicting all of the unused SOUND functions. This could be the limit. Unless people want to see about 15 pointless atrocious videos. Be my guest.
I might also have a better explanation about the unused OBJ_TRN functions based on the 1993 date text found in the ROM:
The development of the game is based on an early version of the SGB technical inner-workings. This would not exactly explain the fact that there is a sample demonstration included with the Game Boy programming package developed by Nintendo (or one of their divisions; likely Intelligent Systems or R&D1) titled Wario World... I kid you not. Though this could be a very early CGB title of Wario Land II. It is unknown.
Also, this is interesting. After examination of almost every GB/GBC game, I have come to the conclusion that roughly 86 percent of the games are heavily modified from the sample program provided. Even NOA encouraged people to develop based on the demo. Weird.
Here is a sample of assembly that I found to be matching: (need to look later for a reasonable example because this was not prepared properly like anything else I hastily throw upwards)
It is clearly impossible to know exactly why the OBJ_TRN function was never used or was assigned as ''USE PROHIBITED'' in the NOA/NOE official documents, nor why it wasn't properly implemented in the SGB BIOS from tip-beginning.
Unless an inclined individual can find the developers and interview them into Japanese oblivion. Be my guest and best of hell finding any of the original Pokonyan staff members.
Guess what, it is also impossible to know exactly what SOUND functions were originally set for the null settings. Oh well. I can still find out exactly what settings are unused easily. Next video.
For good measure, here are both of the entire SOUND listings:
