Unused Game Content ~ Bomberman Quest MGB MGL TEST MODE GAME BOY POCKET LIGHT DEBUG
Each of the debug target system screens.
Yes, it is possible for GB/GBC games to detect if it is being played using a MGL (Game Boy Light/Game Boy Pocket)!
Game Genie code 187-F2E-B36 (US), 187-FDE-B36 (EU), or 187-FFE-B36 (JP) will start the game in a debug menu. The level select is absent, only appearing in text form in the ROM. The debug menu is even capable of detecting the Game Boy Pocket (MGB) and Game Boy Light (MGL) handhelds. Bomberman Quest is the only game that performs this detection.
"Press Start to go to the title screen, Select to go the sound test, Down to go to the ending sequence, B to go to the CHR viewer, and Up to go to the "COLOR TEST" screen (which only works properly when accessed using a Game Boy Color)."

There will be unused SGB feature showcasing videos. *ominous reception music plays*
This video covers the overwold song (one of the best songs in the game)
NEW GAME BOY HOT POKET JAPAN!!! GO!!!! SO COOL!!!! SUPER TURTLE MINIATURE GAME!!!
These are the code names:
MGB stands for Game Boy Pocket
MGL is the Game Boy Light that was unfortunately never released outside of Japan, neither was the SGB2... well it was, in Hong Kong.
The only console that is not detectable is the Game Boy Advance due to obvious date releases of the console.
This is why I bake my own pianos.
