This camera mode was used in Godzilla: Save the Earth's challenges and was originally supposed to be used in its story mode before it was cut. While similar to Unleashed's "story" camera, the OTS (over-the-shoulder) camera allows you to move the camera using the right analog stick, whereas the story camera can't be controlled and stays in a fixed position behind your character. The story camera transitions into the versus mode camera when entering combat. The OTS camera does not, but it allows you to lock onto opponents by pressing L2. In Save the Earth, you could also unlock the camera by pressing R3, however, this does not work in Unleashed. The reticle was also removed.
