Unveiling Of: Magic The Gathering Forgotten Realms (My First Magic Set)
Greetings,
I wanted to share the first and probably the last magic card opening that i've ever done or will ever do. I'll explain because i feel that context is important here. I love Dungeons & Dragons so when i found out about this crossover I wanted get something from limited event. I feel that much make complete sense, but i've never been big on Magic The Gathering and i'm not aganist playing card games. I had a big Yu-Gi-Oh phase, but i just got to a point where i didn't super enjoy constantly buying cards to compete and took a break from playing card games. Once i got an inch to get back into cards, i started talking to my friiends that still played who infromed how rules had changed hich rocked my confidence. I learned all the difference from what i knew in Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic The Gathering and Poke-Mon to discover that there's a decent amount of work in being able to play cards.
I kinda left cards after learning that information and never bought a booster, set, collector's box or a sinlge since middle school until this Forgotten Realms set came out. I know in a previous Insomnia Files video i showed off 2 booster pack and a gift pack, but i more or less bought those for the art and the fact the existed. I didn't really have urge to buy any more than those 3 packs unitl i laid eyes of the gift set with Drizzt on it and now we are where we are...
The video is pretty straight forward, i opened all the cards and i did enjoy myself. I was after at least a beholder which i did get, i'm disappointed I didn't get a card for Drizzt, but i'm happy with the exprience that i had opening this pack, it just unfortune that i don't feel a drive to buy any more packs or sets which is why i think this will be the only card opening video i put in this playlist unless the Forgotten Realms set goes on sale.
The last thing i'll say is that i reget using my front facing carmera on my iphone. I feel the quality is bad and seeing how I recentlty compared my phone quality between each lens, this video could have been more clear. i guess that's all...
