If you know the meaning of playing card, games that use playing cards become very different. Each card tells a story, and the cards together form a unique narrative. With this added layer of meaning a game of solitaire becomes the play ground for many potential stories.

If we talk about fortune telling, I would say that it is closer to story telling than foretelling someones future. Tarot readers, including myself, would argue that to perform cartomancy is an act of self examination than it is reading someone's future. In those moments of self exploration a narrative is crafted based around the query.

If we look at a game of solitaire, there are many cards in various combinations as the result of game mechanics. What place is more chaotic and random than the tableau of a game of solitaire? Using the codex of playing card meanings I can use an AI language model (ChatGPT) to create a narrative.

I extracted these cards from a game of Breakwater in Soliatire 3D. I used the foundation of the cards that were reamining to get these:

10 of Clubs: legacy and complete success, well-established prosperity.
10 of Spades: rock bottom, overwhelm, buried.
Queen of Hearts: caring woman, maternal role, warm guidance.
7 of Diamonds: progress through adversity, good investment choice.
2 of Diamonds: the juggler of opportunity, synchronization, positive direction.
3 of Spades: future bad news, third person breaking a union, temporary impairment.
3 of Clubs: long term proposition, new creativity, another chance.
3 of Hearts: social engagement, expanding partnerships, uncertain emotions.
