My "old" laptops WiFi was starting to annoy me with how slow it was, so I decided to upgrade the Wireless N 2.4 GHz WiFi card to a new Intel 7260 card that supports up to Wireless AC on both 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz channels. Definitely an improvement in speed transferring files on the local network. This is a Acer Aspire 8951G-9600.
