Steps:

- Universal control allows you to use the keyboard, mouse, or trackpad of your Mac to control up to two other nearby Mac or iPad devices, and work seamlessly between them.

- When using Universal Control, each device shows its own screen and apps, but you can use a single keyboard, mouse, or trackpad to move the pointer, type, and even copy content between them.
To use universal control you will have to be signed into the same apple ID and have universal control enabled on all devices.

- To turn on universal control on your mac, click on the apple logo in the top left of your mac.

- Choose ‘system settings’ from the menu that appears.

- Click ‘displays’ from the left sidebar.

- Click ‘advanced’ at the bottom of the displays settings.

- Turn on the toggle for the top option, called ‘allow your pointer and keyboard to move between any nearby mac or ipad’.

- If you also turn on the second toggle called ‘push through the edge of a display to connect a nearby mac or ipad’ you can bring the mouse to the edge of your mac or ipad screen to switch between devices.

- Click ‘done’.

- You can now use your keyboard and mouse across your devices.
