Here's a useless glitch involving General Leo in the town of Thamasa. During the brief scene where you control General Leo while Kefka is transforming the Espers into Magicite, you can walk out of bounds with a simple trick.

Head south and stand immediately adjacent to the guard in the Magitek Armor. Open your menu with the X button and HOLD DOWN on the D-Pad as you exit the menu. This will cause General Leo to walk straight through the guard who normally does not let you pass.

Now, you can walk south beyond the border of the screen, and this will allow you to do some (minimal and pointless) exploring out of bounds!
