Videogame Logic - Confusion in JRPGs (Final Fantasy VI, SNES Classic)
In many video games - mostly RPGs - the confusion status effect can be alleviated by inflicting physical damage upon the character who is confused. In other words, you can often "slap some sense" into your confused ally by hitting them. But like... does that make sense?
