An example of how the Pro Action Replay (MK) 2 works but before that some handy feature of this cheat cartridge:

Update 0: The Pro Action Replay (MK) 2has a hidden games list when on the cheat code page press the right trigger button / the R button to view the games list. The once you have found a game press triangle to view the cheat codes then press the b button to highlight the code from white to red.

At this point press the right trigger button / the r button to take you to the code list. The code you have selected will show then press the start button and flip the switch to the tip to activate the cheat code in-game.

1: You can use the cheat cartridge to play import games.

Getting back to adding cheats to this cheat cartridge I basically went to this great website below:

Found a cheat I liked, then on the main menu press down till you get to Exit to Parameters then press the b button which takes you to entering rows of code.

At this point start typing your 8 digit code using the B button & use the up, left, right and down keys to navigate the letter and numbers needed for your cheat code and press the start button when you're finished typing the 8 digit code to enter the game.

I more rows are needed just press b do the codes stop flashing then down and press b and start entering rows of code.

Now the difficult/frustrating part:

Step 1: Important: keep the right silver switch on the Action Replay Pro (MK) 2 cartridge in the down position when carrying out the above steps.

When you are on the level where the gameplay is like Ken fighting Ryu.

Step 2: Important: switch the right silver switch from the bottom to the top position and the cheat you have entered will activate on the gameplay level as seen in the video e.g. my cheat was invincibility.

You might have to repeat this several times as moving the switch can move your cartridge and freeze your game.

Hopefully, after viewing this clip it will convince you to buy the Action Replay Pro (MK) 2 on the Snes.
