An example of how to get the Action Replay to work on the Wii :D but before that unfortunately from what I can see from the action replay menu, you can not add new games or cheat codes to this cheat device.

1: First thing you have to do is make sure your Wii is up to date. You go to Wii options, Wii setting screen 3 then press a on Wii system update which gives you the latest firmware update which should be 4.3. You will also have to update your calendar to the correct year, day, month, hour for me when typing this it was 9.5.2019 and the time was 3.11 I'm a late sleeper lol To do this you go to Wii options, Wii settings screen 1, calendar then change the date and time to what it is now.

2: Second thing you do is again go to Wii options, Wii settings screen 2 then press a on internet then console information to get your Wii console 12 digit/letter serial number / mac address.

3: Third thing you do is type into your browser www.wiiar.com to take you to the download action replay code list which you will need to install onto your sd card. At this point, you will have to register your console mac address, your license key and put your region setting for example mine was Europe. Unfortunately, the license key cannot be shared and as you are sharing your console address I guess the download will only work for this console. Therefore buying used copies of the action replay for Wii can be risky.

4: Once downloaded after entering your above details for your unique download you have to transfer the contents of the download to the sd card that comes with this product. In order to do this, I used a USB SD card reader or hopefully your laptop comes with one. Once this is transferred take your Wii SD and put it in the front of the Wii SD slot.

5: Now go to your Wii Main Menu go to the right mail icon (Wii message board), click on the calendar, then you should see a mail icon from the day you downloaded the action replay code list. Also hopefully your calendar is up to date otherwise you might not see this mail icon due to conflicting dates from the download and what your Wii console days it is. You will see the day you downloaded the action replay code list for me it was 7.5.2019.

6: At this point, you will click on that mail icon for me the date was 7.5.2019, this will take you to a screen saying Wii action replay with the SD card on top of the logo. Click on that and it will generate the code list after a min its a bit slow at this point. Then use the Wii remote to highlight a game which turns the title into a bold, blue highlighted icon. Then click on the bottom right icon which says view code list. Then tick the codes you want to use and then click on the words start the game with codes. Also, make sure you use the game codes selected to your region code like mine was for Goldeneye the (EU) code list.

Also, I have noticed that some of the codes for the games do not work but thankfully the codes I wanted for Goldeneye do work as opposed the codes for Lego Star Wars which did not, unfortunately, work for me personally but might for you.

Hopefully, after viewing this cheat SD Card for the Wii in action it will convince you it's worth buying :D
