Using the Xplorer 64 (Green Label) on Goldeneye (I'm Invincible Cheating Special) on the N64
An example of how the Xplorer 64 works but before that some handy feature of this cheat cartridge:
1: Efficient design of adding cheat codes for your N64 Games.
2: Press the Z button to look up cheat cartridge information.
Getting back to adding cheats to this cheat cartridge I basically went to this great website below:
https://www.nesworld.com/article.php?system=n64&data=n64-xploder
Found a cheat code I liked by finding the game title on the website page, thankfully it was already on the cheat cartridge but if it was not I would find a cheat code I liked on the website which is normally a combination of one, two or more rows of 12 numbers or letters.
After finding the cheat code I would go to the main menu on the Xplorer 64. Select Cheat Codes by pressing the a button then find the words Add New game at the top and press a again to add a new game at this point I would type the game name and press start when I was finished.
After this I would find the game in the games list when found I would press the right button. At this point, I would name my code by pressing a on add new description which normally would be the Master Code or if the game does not need one just a standard cheat code is fine then press start when finished.
I would then press down then a on Add New code then a again to enter either one or two rows of 12 digits by pressing start when finished. Then under the 12 digit code I have just typed an option to add another row for this code “add new code” will appear. Press down then a then repeat this process for another row if needed.
Repeat this process if more codes are needed for example the master code and normal cheat code.
I would then press a to highlight this new cheat code and the master code, press start, then press a on the word start game in order to activate the game with the cheat codes selected.
Hopefully, after viewing this cheat cartridge in action it will convince you it's worth buying :D
