An example of how the Action Replay works on the Gamecube. It loads the game list with options for cheats for Europe, Japan, and the USA also the handy feature of this cheat disc is:

1: You can use Free-Loader option to play import games on the Gamecube.

Important: Unfortunately no way to add new cheats or games to this cheat disc.

At this point, you would find the game title of your game, press a to view to cheat codes, tick the ones you want to use by pressing a again then press the start button, change discs once the top of the Gamecube is closed it enters the game with the cheats activated.
