An example of how the Action Replay Plus Cheat Cartridge works but before that some handy feature of this cheat cartridge:

1: You can transfer your game saves from your Sega Saturn to your Action Replay Plus.
2: You can use the Action Replay Plus to play games which need the 4M Ram boost like X-Men Vs Street Fighter the import edition.
3: You can play US, JAP, and European games on this cheat cartridge by just putting in the game and pressing start game.

Getting back to adding cheats to this cheat cartridge I basically went to this great website below:

Found a cheat I liked, thankfully it was already on the cartridge but if it was not I would find the master code on the above website which is normally a combination of two rows of 12 numbers or letters.

After finding the master code I would go to the main menu on the action replay plus then Select cheats by pressing the a button then to go into the games list menu then press a again on the words new game at the very top of the games list to add a new game and a title for it.

At this point, name your game by pressing the a button, for example, Virtual Fighter 2 then when finished press the b button.

Then press the down key to enter the first row of 12 digits by pressing a button once finished press the b button then down then a to start the second row then type it with the button a again then when finished press b to save and exit.

Then using the same principles as typing the master code I would find a cheat code I liked on the website which can be one or multiple 12 letters and numbers give my cheat code a title and finally save the cheat code.

You will then be taken to the master code and the cheat code you have just created in order to switch the code on for the game just press the a button while highlighting the cheat code and press the start button then press it again on the words start game with selected cheats to enter the game with the cheat code selected.

Also, do not worry about switching on the master code as that is switched on automatically.

Hopefully, after viewing this cheat cartridge in action, it will convince you it's worth buying :D
