UT2k4 - Monster Evolution - Temple Run Playthrough
This is a solo playthrough of Temple Run on the live server Monster Evolution. In this run, I brought my rank 4 Paladin. The Paladin class specializes in keeping their allies alive and tanking monsters. This particular build focuses on high defense, abilities that transfers damage from allies to the Paladin, and healing.
Temple Run is the server's oldest map. It was originally designed as a demo/proof of concept map for the new monster assault game type, featuring unique ambushes, structured objectives, jumping puzzles, and monster variety based on server conditions.
For this run, I brought a character that's way too high of a level for this map. It's sometimes fun to steamroll through monsters once in awhile even if it means diminished XP rewards.
Map Objectives:
0:00 - Destroy the shield barrier
1:09 - Gain access to the back exterior
3:19 - Locate the caves
7:44 - Pickup the energy crystals
7:55 - Return to the ship
13:56 - Return the crystals to the ship
23:44 - Victory
Recommended level range for this map: 15-90
Recommended number of players: 3-8
Map Description:
Intelligence gathered that the Crystal Artifact is located inside a hidden cave. With the increasing resistance of monsters, it is more evident that this artifact is close. You are deployed at the entrance of this temple to disable the shield barriers and gain access to the caverns. Collect the Crystal artifact and return to extraction.

Disclaimer:
There is a playthrough for each map on the server. The playthroughs are executed on the live server. Nothing was announced either in Discord or in the server prior to my performing these recordings. Footage is unedited in order to display natural runs. Therefore, runs may capture my blunders, rushed scenarios, slow runs, uncensored chat, friendly players, and quiet games. Recordings were captured during a variety of times throughout the day/night with server capacity varying from empty to nearly full. Participants were from across different time zones as well.
