This is my first permadeath run in Valheim. No mods, all vanilla.

This is mining, exploration & combat video. With a bit of ranged combat and a smash of melee. Recording was made during patch 0.219.16.

Well, I have a few pieces of iron gear, but I need more before I make my run against Bonemass. I also have to find the boss first!

As I was mining in a crypt, a came upon a draugr and a blob. I was able to pick them off with some fire arrows, and then... I just kept mining...

I knew there must have been a spawn point in there, but did I go in, no...

Another draugr spawned before I realized my mistake and got in there with my mace. A few good swings and the draugr was gone and the body pile a few swings later.

Thankfully, I was able to find a vegvisir for Bonemass in the room too, along with a big stack of iron. Unfortunately, the boss seems pretty far, and unlikely connected to my main island. I'll have to start going north and see if I can find a way to the boss. I might need my boat...

Back at base, I dropped off my gear and looked around my new kitchen a bit. I still need to find the Bog Witch, but I've got the table made for her feasts...
