Today we are checking out Valhiem, today we are going over the easiest way to make a chicken farm for easy feather harvesting. The one down side is the plains boss will have to be defeated in order for Haldor to sell his golden eggs. Each egg will cost you a staggering $1500 gold however you will only need to buy two eggs if done correctly. Eggs will need a heat source in order to hatch which takes an entire in game day. After that chickens take an additional 3-4 in game days to become a hen. If the egg is picked up before it hatches the timer will restart, same for if the fire goes out. The chickens will eventually turn into hens which will then lay the eggs, hens will be able to mate with each other to produce more eggs as there are no roosters inside the game. If you are looking to just collect eggs without hatching more chickens destroy the camp fire and the eggs will just lay on the ground.
