This is my first speedrun. Yes, I completed Jak and Daxter first, but this is the first I started. I probably should have restarted this run once I got back to it, as is evident in the poor quality of the beginning chapter (and part of the second) compared to the remaining run. Unfortunately, I looked back on my run and the beginning segments after I was through part of chapter 4.

It's hosted on Speed Demos Archive (SDA) with full comments. It was completed over the course of 2 years. It can definitely be improved, but I don't have the motivation at this time to do that. If anyone else wants to give it a try, then I definitely can assist if asked.

I didn't use the leveling exploit because it's boring, I thought it wouldn't save time, and it drastically changes much of the strategy to "run in and cast salamander." Later on I ran through some estimates and it would only take 30 minutes to level up to 28, which is the ideal level to get the mages up to level 25 (Salamander). I roughly estimate that this could save about an hour, so 30 minutes gained. Also considered was the Vandalier, but the extra time gained in chapter 6 can never offset the 6 extra stages.

Why speedrun a strategy game? Coming up with strategies that work in a low level speedy way was a fun challenge. I hope you enjoy.
