Vanishing Point released in early 2001 for Dreamcast and PS1. This is the PS1 version of the game on emulator. It's a very late game for the PS1 so they knew hardware capabilities well. Game is visually impressive for PS1, there are no pop-ins, no LOD changes so objects in the distance appear naturally and believable. They made an unbelievable job hiding further objects behind curves and ramps. However gameplay is frustrating as car feels like fixed in the center and rotates rather than moving. Makes it feel like car is stationary and roads slide under. And physics are a mess, if you crash with high speeds you will most likely spin like helicopter blades. Overall I do not recommend to play it but I wanted to share it's visuals.

I played it on DuckStation emulator using settings:
Enhancements: 9x internal res., True Color, Disable Interlacing and PGXP
For CRT effect I used ReShade with CRT-Royale shader with custom paramaters.

Unfortunately both video record and youtube bitrate limitations lowers the image quality.
