This guy wasn't too bad. I probably could've taken him without the assistance of a phantom. Oh well!

You're going to want a shield that blocks physical damage. The shield I was using is an Old Knight Greatshield, and it blocks 100% of all physical damage.

You primarily want to stay behind him and roll to the side of his attacks if you can get the timing correct. Again, he isn't too bad, he's a mix of easy and challenging so he can be a bit fun actually.
