Hi everyone, I'm Thyworm and on this channel we bring you the latest modding news and mod reviews, with today, a deep dive into the Chat Wheel, a new mods for Vermintide 2. So consider subscribing to the channel if you're new here. Let's get started.

So today's mod is the Chat wheel, which is a great idea. I'm playing with mouse and keyboard and then it's still a little tough to pull off actually. There's no configuration in the mod menu yet, which means you have to insert some console commands in order to configure this mod. Let me walk you through the options that are possible here.

First, you open the mod by pressing 'T' *** visual showing T*** which brings up the chat wheel. You can then rotate your mouse, picking an answer and click *** click ***. Then press T again ***T*** and the answer you picked is in the screen.

You can configure this mod in 2 ways:
1. Setting the keybind for this mod, so it's not T.
2. Setting the messages, so you can customise up to 8 messages.

setting the keybind is done by the following command: /set_keybind K. Make sure that the key is not already bound to something else, like i'm doing here with setting it to Y, because keys will then have double functions. Also, make sure you type a capital letter, because with a lower case letter this doesn't work.

Setting up the phrases goes like this:
set the following command: /set_phrase 1 Patrol ahead. This line changes phrase one into 'Partol Ahead'.

some command console tips: You can cycle through previous commands by pressing the up and down key on your keyboard. Also, using the tab key, you can have hte console command finish the suggested lines. Using tab multiple times goes through the options that are suggested. These tips help you in quickly setting up the chat wheel. I think in the future this will be possible in the mod menu.

After setting up your wheel, you're all good to go. Spamming too many messages results in a small warning. You cannot send more than 3 messages per 10 seconds.

This mod will most likely be sanctioned, I don't see any unfair advantages and this is a great quality of life mod to me. So in Wave 3, let's hope this makes the cut.
