30In this video, I'll discuss a great player home mod that deserves its own showcase. So here you go, the best boat mod on the Nexus.
The Snow Rider can be found in the Riverwood Trader, next to Camilla's bed. You can pick it up and this thing is actually a potion. So go to the potion section and use it. You will be transported to another dimension, your own personal island. It's a really vibrant and unique island and it reminded me somehow of the Elsweyr DLC mod.
On the outside there's some friendly wildlife, very colorful flowers and crisp beaches. There's a small stone outhouse where you can enjoy some food outside. The walls of the globe are 2 moving planes of textures against each other, it s quite ingenious. You can get the snowglobe again to return, but we're going to take the fishers boat to the ship.
The ship consist of three floors. The top floor holds the master bedroom and a staff enchanter. The second floor has a treasury room, some statues, a dining area and these really cool snowglobes once again that serve as your crafting stations. I've never seen these before, but it's super convenient. Also watch the miniature crafting stations inside them. Really well done.
Also very cool in this floor is the interactive map. It lets you travel to any place you already discovered. The floor also holds plenty of storage area.
The bottom floor, or ships hold, provides beds for your followers, if you have em. It also contains more storage. Throughout the ship and also outside you'll find the cloud storage, which is all tied together. You have easy access to it, just like real cloud storage. Ye, not very immersive maybe, but super useful.
What I really found impressive in this mod is the combination of utility, design and the overall awesome look. I really enjoyed the lighting in this place, all the small candlelight spells hovering around, the flowerbeds and the different kinds of storage. This is a truly unique mod, well worth checking out I feel. You can also visit it on the spot, using the snow globe.
