Vertical Platforms in Under 3 Minutes! | GameMaker Studio 2.3 Tutorial
In this video I explain how to implement some basic vertical platform code for Platformer games in GameMaker Studio 2.3.
It's not perfect code - it's code I adapted from a GMC forum post a few years back that I had modified quite a bit for another project I'm working on and I adapted that code to be more readable for this tutorial.
It works for the most part but doesn't detect collisions well on the corners.
I may do another video in the future going over the original code/the code from my other project.
