VIA To Release 8 Core X86 CPU To Compete With Ryzen | Intel I7-8809G Vega CPU Tech Details
VIA are entering the X86 arena in a big with, with news they're going to release several X86 chips over the next few years and are gunning for both AMD and Intel. The KX-5000, KX-6000 and finally KX-7000 CPUs will be released over the next few years, each becoming increasingly more powerful and by the time the KX-7000 is released, its possible VIA might well be a very compelling alternative to the current intel and AMD status quo.
Finally, Intel's Indian website outted some technical details of the joint collaboration between themselves and AMD, with specs of the Intel I7-8809G. The I7-8809G is a Kaby Lake based processor, combined with a Vega graphics block and HBM2.
