Unless it somehow proves impossible we will push through to 1B GDP with EIC Corn Laws here on 1.2 even if it requires us to put in a *lot* more work due to the GDP rework (a subject we will cover in the Advanced Country Guide sooner or later I'm sure!). Corn Laws offers a lot of flexibility to the EIC now, with a potential reform path available to reduce the power of the Landowner in a way previously impossible. Does this change make the EIC a top-tier tool for Billionaire Speedrunning in the world of 1.2? Quite possibly, though it is going to rely a lot on some... stranger strategies.
