Viewpoint is Sammy's only game for the Neo-Geo Multi Video System hardware,it's is an isometric scroller that scrolls at a 45-degree upward angle and it has an awesome soundtrack and wonderful graphics.
The controls are pretty simple the game uses a regular joystick and 2 buttons:

A button: Shot
Hold A button then release: Charge shot
B-button: Bomb

Along with the ship's primary weapons, the player also has access to three bombs: one that can make a wave of fire that starts from behind the player's ship and scrolls "up" the screen, one that makes a powerful circular, nova-like blast, and one that shoots several mini-missiles capable of homing in on multiple targets.
There is also three items along the road can help like:

Star: Extra points
Barrier: Extra protection
Pod: 2 sidekicks

The two pods are the only weapon upgrade in the game;Barrier can be broken in 3 hits and Star is just points for scoring and it requires certain condition to appear.

By default, Player 1 and Player 2 can only play one after another; in the Service Mode though, simultaneous gameplay can be enabled. The game has six hard stages in total.
