The Neo Geo and Sega Genesis versions of this isometric shoot 'em up were pretty decent, but the port for the original PlayStation goes a step further by using pre-rendered 3D graphics and effects, not to mention a CD soundtrack with music from licensed artists.

Under the hood, it's still pretty much the same iso-pew-pew of the other versions, but these fancy 3D things were still quite new and innovative, so it's definitely worth checking out.
