Violent Storm playthrough
0Redoing an another one of the playthroughs I did back in 2015.
I have taken an another try on Konami's Violent Storm, which was made in 1993.
It's about three guys, who got to rescue Sheena from the hands of Red Freddy and Lord Geld. The heroes are Wade, Boris and Kyle, who differ from each other with the fighting techniques. Wade does street brawling, Boris does grappling and Kyle does the martial arts.
The plot happens in the 90s, after World War III ended.
The civilizations are rebuilding and starting from new. Unfortunately the gangs are obstructing the reconstruction, raiding the innocent, which is a reason why the heroes got to fight the criminals in purpose to help people at rebuilding a civilization.
The heroes have a lot of special moves depending on which techniques they are using. Each one has special ability. Wade's own special is an uppercut, Boris's one are the jumping grapple moves and Kyle's one is a kick fury.
There is not enough of the weapons, but a large variety of the specials is enough.
The graphics are really good and colorful so, that it would fit the early 90s climates. Also the music is awesome and catchy. Both of these things make a plot post-apocalyptic and colorful at the same time.
Summing up, it's an another one of the classics of Konami's arcade game especially, if this one was a part of my childhood.
