After three years I decided to redo an another one of my old MAME playthroughs and the one I am playing again is Legionnaire. As I told you earlier, Legionnaire was made by TAD Corporation in 1992.

It's about three heroes: Alfred, Chris (probably Christina) and Frank, whose friend Judy was kidnapped by Mr.G's gang named "Crimson Kings". Judy herself was fighting the criminals until she got kidnapped by them for revenge.

Besides the basic moves there are the special moves such as combo ending push, dash and grab move and a dash attack. But unlike in the other beat'em up games you have to press jump button twice rapidly to dash.

This time I am playing the properly emulated version of this arcade game.
We can see what happens in a post-boss fight scene before a cutscene. Also the enemies can no longer walk outside a field a player can roam.

Summing up, ignoring the issues of emulation this obscure side-scroller looks pretty interresting. It's not perfect, but it may be still enjoyable.
