Virtua Cop 2 Arcade: Mission 1 - The Big Chase (Sega Model 2)
2A full play through of the first stage of Sega's classic light-gun rail shooter, Virtua Cop 2. The game was developed internally by Sega's AM2 studio and was released to arcades a year after the original title in 1995. The game later had Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, and PC ports.
The game had a number of power-ups in the form of more powerful weapons than the standard handgun you're given. Each of which can be unlocked throughout each stage by shooting crates, barrels, and other objects that reveal them.
The game's plot picks up with the original cop characters Michael Hardy (Rage), and James Cools (Smarty), who in the original title took out the criminal empire E.V.L inc.'s three main bosses, Kong, Boss, and King. The fourth criminal kingpin Joe Fang was originally thought to have been killed, until a newly emerged character Janet Marshall (A forensics investigator) reveals suspicious activity from the now defunct E.V.I.L bank accounts, as well as a massive jewelry heist that's taken place across town.
