I've always hoped that some of the Sega AGES titles on the Switch would come to the PS4, but seeing as that looks like it's never going to happen I decided to give Nintendo Switch emulation a try awhile back with Ryujinx. On Ryujinx it was about 50-55fps, which looked decent enough speed-wise, but it was enough of a speed drop to mangle the audio a fair bit. Now, using Yuzu, Virtua Racing runs proper full speed 60fps. Whoop whoop! I initially couldn't get Yuzu working when I first tried it back in June, all the games kept crashing. I asked if anyone knew of a solution on an internet form and got no replies and forgot about it. Today however, someone replied with the solution: it's necessary to deactivate the FMA instruction set in cpu parameters for older CPU's like mine in the CPU config. Did that, BAM! Everything now working. Merci beacoup once again if you happen to read this blache!
This is definitely the best looking version of Virtua Racing I've ever seen, it looks absolutely superb with it's 60fps and lovely upscaled and polished up graphics. Such a shame it never got released on any other platforms. I would still purchase a copy if it came out on PS4. Bit of a shame it didn't get any extras added though, like the extra courses and cars from the 32x and PS2 versions, that would've been awesome.
