I pre-ordered the PSVR and was very happy to receive it. I did hit a snag, motion sickness and nausea. On certain games it happened a lot and in others it didn't so much. How's that possible? What's behind that? 01:51 I try to explain some of the anatomy and physiology involved.

Let's look into the human sense of balance and what's involved with postural position, sensing your surroundings, position and movement and how those are or aren't interacting with Virtual Reality Devices.

I am quite tired after a night-shift, so I am pretty sleep deprived but just wanted to get this information out there regardless. It may help you decide whether or not Virtual Reality is for you.

I advise you to extensively test quite a few different types of games in order to get a feel for how sensitive you are to discrepancies in sensory information your body will perceive when using VR. For some it's no problem whatsoever, for others only thinking about VR is enough to turn their faces green.

Wouter - The Highlander, recently got his Oculus Rift DK2 and he has a very nuanced view on what works and what doesn't work for him. I visited him right before he made the video and after seeing his video wanted to add my own two cents on the topic regarding my own experiences with VR. Wouter's video can be viewed here:
