Virtual reality on Xbox has apparently been cancelled. After an impressive reveal at E3 2015, any hope for VR/Mixed reality projects for Xbox hardware have been crushed. In an interview with gamesinsdustry.biz, Microsoft’s chief marketing officer of gaming, Mike Nichols, confirmed the rumors of cancellation. Although fans of Xbox and VR are sure to be disappointed by the news, this is perhaps one of the best moves that the company could make in preparation for the next generation of consoles.
