So I unboxed, calibrated the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and took it for a test flight in a "safe" environment.

I got the Phantom 4 Pro for it's autotracking mode as well as front and rear collision detection. I made the choice after watching tons of Mavic Pro crashes due to it backing into things.

Autotrack is a beast. I'm completely impressed with it's ability to keep the target centered and precise following. I'm also terrified that civilian tech has finally reached this level of sophistication.

So far the DJI Phantom 4 Pro has been an incredibly amazing drone, with an absolutely fantastic camera. I hope to have many thousand hours flying it.
