VLOG 3: Crash Testing the DJI Phantom 4 Pro
Granted the crash wasn't intentional. It was a mix of autopilot gone wrong and trees.

I bought the Phantom Pro for low altitude adventure shots, like rock climbing and other sports that are in semi cramped environments. Being that this drone is very expensive, I'd highly suggest at least 5-10 hours practice flights before taking this to "production". Get used to it in a safe environment and learn the quirks. Granted my practice ended in failure, but at least it was close.
About the DJI Phantom 4 Pro Return to Home Feature (RTH): If DJI at least allowed some user interaction for minor course corrections, a lot of crashes could be avoided. In my case, despite being a n00b drone pilot, I immediately saw the issue and went to correct it on the control stick. But the input was ignored and the drone crashed. My quick, but failed reaction is thanks to thousands of hours playing Flight simulator video games.
Regardless of the flaws I love the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and can't wait for it to be fixed and returned to me. I'm even considering getting the Mavic Pro for the more advanced adventure filming out in the deep wooded trails where I love hiking.
