Vlog #52 - Northern Youth Industry Bootcamp 2018
7Yeahh, we'd just finished off our northern 2018 Youth Industry Bootcamp with a bang ! 91 bright-eyed students from 15 schools around the northern part of the peninsular took part in our "hellishly fun" 4 days three night bootcamp which took place at our very own HQ in Sains USM
Partnering up with Universiti Sains Malaysia, we exposed the youthful innovators to a myriad of platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi and mobile apps development, getting a rapturous response in return. They truly are a curious bunch and we're happy that we have created a foothold for them and hopefully they'll carry on from now on.
Company visit, TRIZ talk, prototype development, university tour and pitching session are just some of the activity that these kids delves into during the four days bootcamp and we are glad that they matched our enthusiasm and exuberance. They truly are amazing!
We would also like to thank our university and industry partners, University of Science, Malaysia, Intel, Penang, Psdc, UST Global, ItraMAS Technology Sdn Bhd, MyDuino.com, Clarion Malaysia, Motorola Solutions Malaysia, Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for making YIB 18' Northern region a huge success!
