Vlogging on a DJI Osmo Action, Cynova audio adapter & Comica CVM-VM10 mic after firmware 01.07.00.02
So, just as the title says, Vlogging on a DJI Osmo Action, Cynova audio adapter & Comica CVM-VM10 mic after firmware 01.07.00.02
This is a vlogging test on the DJI Osmo Action after the 1.7 firmware update which was designed to fix the microphone issue with the CYNOVA Osmo Action Dual 3.5mm/USB-C Adapter, were you had to pull out the adapter or mic cable mid take in order to get a good signal.
This firmware update also gives better latency performance when viewing the Action's video recording on the rear screen.
The issue of having to pull or remove the adapter is fixed, although I'd say that DJI still need to do a bit more work as the signal is still too low and the frequency response could also do with another look at, as the recorded audio isn't as detailed in the upper frequencies as it should be.
DJI are almost at the point with the Osmo Action where I'd say it's the best vlogging action camera, just a few more picture tweaks and one last look at the mic interface and maybe DJI will finally have a hit on their hands.
