This is a playthrough of single player mode using Ohga in the Arcade version of Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer. Read on below for more information...

Ohga is the final boss in this game, and he is an unplayable/non-selectable character.

===== OHGA TECHNICAL INFORMATION =====

He cannot have/use any Copying Maneuvers (where you copy other character's special moves after beating them). The defeated opponent offers their moves of course, but even if you accept them, it has no effect for Ohga. This is further indicated via Ohga's lifebar icon not having the extended icon for the character of the copied move.

On the screen where his defeated opponent offers their special move, the demonstrations here are glitched, sometimes you can see Ohga with glitched colours. You can see this after every match in the video.

In single-player mode, in the game's two cutscenes with Platonic Twins and Ohga, there is no text/dialogue.

Despite being a non-selectable character, he actually has an alternate colour palette, shown starting around 26:17 in the video. I don't think the CPU Ohga at the end of the game ever uses the second colours in normal situations.

When a mirror match is set up, his pre-fight intro causes a conflict with the other Ohga (and vice-versa) that results in them never doing their pre-fight intros. This means that they are stuck there and does not progress, thus the game is soft-locked. This is due to the fact that you are not supposed to have Ohga vs. Ohga in normal situations.

In a 1P mode mirror match against CPU Ohga, you can have player 2 join in to get out of the soft-lock. However in a 1P vs 2P game, it is 100% soft-locked, requiring a reset. You can see these starting around 25:59 and 27:20 in the video respectively.

Ohga is programmed in a way where if a human player selects him, and if his opponent defeats him anywhere, it will activate and show the opponent character's ending. The same probably applies to when the CPU controls him anywhere besides the final stage.

===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====

Ohga's real name is Ozaki Shizuru.

The sub-boss Platonic Twins is able to have one of his/her special moves copied and used by other characters.

Ohga is the only character in the game to not have any of his special moves available to be copied/used by other characters.

The game is known as Choujin Gakuen Gowcaizer in Japan.

It features distinct character artwork and designs from Masami Obari. He is also the voice actor for the character Brider in the game, and is also the director of the anime (OVA).

===== ABOUT VOLTAGE FIGHTER GOWCAIZER =====

This is basically a Japanese "anime" take on a "superhero" fighting game, with a bit of 'Tokusatsu' thrown in regarding the character Brider. It is a standard old-school Neo-Geo 2D versus fighting game, but with the unique feature of characters being able to copy/take other character's specific special moves and use them.

Over the years, the game is known to be discovered through 'curious interest' upon seeing the two female characters Shaia and Karin in other media (such as MUGEN).
