The original Moss is still considered by many to be one of the best VR games to date and Moss Book 2, the stunning sequel to that original adventure, is now one of the best Quest 2 games to date. A VR platformer with heart, charm and gorgeous attention to detail this is one of the most joyful and enjoyable new VR games that 2022 has provided so far. Polyarc have crafted a truly believable miniature world here, the details on the characters (the characters are never static), the animations, the sound design, the environments that surround the player, the puzzles and overwhelming cute factor all come together to form one of the finest Quest 2 platform games yet and it really is a worthy sequel to the fantastic Moss. It's no wonder this game sits on a 82% positive Metacritic rating, it's easily accessible, immediately engaging and one of the best Quest 2 games for beginners. I highly recommend both the original Moss (if you've never played it) and this wonderful sequel.

I really hope games like Moss, Trover and Luckys Tale spawn more VR platformers, being immersed in these worlds whilst controlling a character from a 3rd person perspective is incredibly unique and offers a more relaxed (typical) gaming experience than the standard first person shooter VR releases. After spending the first half of this week with the Moss Book 2 Quest 2 version I'm now already eagerly awaiting the next installment, hopefully there's a book 3 on the cards...
