Half Life Incursion is a brand new hour long campaign that pits players up against wave after wave of combine enemies, to survive you have to be resourceful, scour your environment for supplies, make your shots count and use cover effectively, these enemies aren't pulling any punches. The objective here is to survive the waves and to get hold of batteries which in turn unlock rooms which contain the controls to power down the main door you're trying to get through, it's intense VR combat at it's finest and it reminds you just why Half Life Alyx is one of the best VR games (if not THE best VR game) on the market...
It's actually crazy coming back to Half Life Alyx after an extended hiatus, it makes you realise just how good this game is in comparison to the other VR games that have released over the last few years. It's certainly not perfect but the level of immersion of options for emergent gameplay situations is incredible, Valve just need to hurry up and give us a new VR game as soon as possible... This Half Life Incursion gameplay was captured using a Quest 2 airlink / Quest 2 PC VR connection, a native Half Life Alyx Quest 2 game doesn't exist so to experience this you will need a PCVR setup or cloud PC.
