○东方花逐夜 ~ Vs Zun - RSY Mode TLB 1cc, Sanae Kochiya 2,5 Billion played by ZIG
○东方花逐夜 ~ Vs Zun is (if I'm correct) A Chinese fangame, it's a crossover between Touhou and CAVE, the difficulty is inbetween I think, well, atleast a little harder than your average Touhou game, unless you score a lot of extends and bomb a lot I guess.. :V
This fangame can be downloaded here: https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,17513.0.html
I used the auto-bomb for this, since I'm pretty sure there's no normal deathbombing, I'd rather have normal deathbombing, this costs 3 bombs per auto-bomb.
A pretty well-done run even if I do say so myself, although I can't believe that I somehow got hit at the stage 2 boss's last spellcard, or it's a graze death because those can apparently happen, I can't exactly see how I got hit, think I had the same thing with Yuuka's last spellcard on stage 4.
I did pretty nice on stage 5, perfecting it, perfected Maribel on stage 6 too, captured a lot of ZUN's spellcards and somehow captured the TLB's first spellcard.
I think scoring is mainly done by chaining and collecting items, it'll increase your multiplier, in the end I scored 2,5 billion but I probably wouldn't have done so without that capture of the TLB's first spellcard, the score you get there is insane!
I can capture the second spellcard, I just don't know what happened there.. :V I guess I began losing my concentration, oh well.. That first spellcard capture was epic anyways! xD
Although I haven't captured a few spellcards I can normally capture, I've captured a lot I normally didn't capture, this is my fifth run in the game or so, my third with Sanae, not counting derp runs in which I immediatly restart the game.
I got no idea what the "Money" thing does, it seems to be a thing Reimu, Marisa and Sanae do have but it differs, maybe it got to do with the rank? would be reasonable considering that Sanae's an amazing shottype, at first sight she may not look like an amazing shottype but I guess this run speaks for itself.
I wonder what the hitbox is, is it about 1 pixel? I thought there were CAVE games with hitboxes of 1 pixel, not quite sure if this follows for the hitboxes of the Touhoupachi's, or as I can make a pun of that, Touhoupatchy's.
Also another pun would be those HYPE-trains Maribel seems to have spawn in stage 5, they're fun one literally throws TD disco-balls, still I tend to ask myself why Maribel behaves so Yukari-ish, you could as well call the stage 5 bossbattle a battle between Renko and Yukari, it is however, Renko and Maribel, just the strange decission of attacks and those gaps; they remind me of Yukari like that, oh well..
I like this fangame quite a lot, might want to do the EX the next time, as far as I've noticed it seems to evil, it already shows you that when you start, err, it kinda does.
Anyways, I think I did nice but I'm not too sure, a few of the spellcards I captured against ZUN had been done with patterns I had thought up, like at the SA card and the UFO card, as dodging in the bottom in the SA card is unsafe whilst staying under ZUN is literally a pseudo-safespot, staying to the right on the UFO card is way safer than in the middle.
I've noticed 3 references so far, the first one is obvious, CAVE, you hear some of the themes CAVE does have and you use the Touhoupachi's, the TLB having a CAVE theme and some CAVE patterns also makes it simple to recognise it, the second one would be the stage 4 name, it's literally named "Love Live Okazaki Yumemi!!" with Love Live being a Japanese idol-anime that's being pretty popular over there at the moment, not quite sure what Yumemi got to do with this though..
The last one is ZUN's EoSD spellcard, "I wanna be the god" is a reference to I Wanna Be The Guy, not quite sure why an easy-card would refer to such a hard game.
