I'm terribly sorry that the gauges aren't visible, I was pretty sure that I had centered bandicam on the right place when I decided to press F10 and F12 to play it in "Full Screen" but it shouldn't be too bad.. :V

"Touhou Yumejikuu ~ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (東方夢時空　～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream, lit. "Eastern Dimensional Dream") is the third game in the Touhou Project, which was released for the Japanese PC-98 in 1997. It is a unique game where two players indirectly battle one another by charging and releasing charge attacks and bombs upon the other player. This style of gameplay has also been featured in the ninth Touhou series game, Phantasmagoria of Flower View. It is also the first Touhou game to feature joypad support" Taken from the wiki, PoDD's one of the hardest Touhou games to 1cc on lunatic too, I just had luck here although there were many moments in which I could've easily lost it, mostly at Yumemi's second round, how the heck did I even survive that, half of what was thrown at me did go unseen by me and for some stuff I took desperate dodging tactics, just on the factor of hope instead of skill, apparently that has helped me, I can't recommend doing so but.. You never know apparently :V


Oh, a bit of PoDD's gameplay, PoDD's a vertical split-screen shmup, where you play on the left side against the AI that's on the right side, as you go farther and farther on, the AI gets harder, in lunatic things can get pretty tedious, this was I think my 4th run, although I can't say for sure as I tried this a long time ago, I have read a comment of ZIL to t_prin that it's the best to spare your gauge, That indeed really helps, when you attack stuff seems to get even more tedious anyways.

I think that PoDD both loves and hates me, even more considering how it can become easy at one moment to a total hell to endure the next moment.

PoDD also contains a lot of tracks, most are made for each player-character, although you also got the usual title&ending and a track that's specially made for stage 7, no matter who your opponent is.

there are also 3 tracks left out because ZUN didn't feel like they'd fit for any character, those tracks can be found in Akyu's Untouched Score vol.4

Anyways, I can hardly tell how it will be playing PoDD, as it really differs per play-session, It's never really going to be easy though, hold that in mind.

I however, can tell that Reimu's Ying-Yang orbs really seem to mess up the AI a lot, that might help, I was pretty sure that Marisa was also good to play, although I got this 1cc with Reimu now.

I did Yumemi blind on lunatic, I did her blind on hard too! but this time around... I got very close to losing, I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the most barely 1cc's of lunatic PoDD out there, not like you get to decide whether it's do-able or barely, PoDD in itself decides that for you.

I'm pretty happy with this 1cc, it shows that I can survive, I'm not the best at scoring but that's the least I care about, runs I do care about it mostly end with me getting hit almost right away anyways.. :V

My survival was I guess good, not very good as it lacks a lot, although lunatic PoDD isn't quite the game that will let you decide once you go onwards.

Guess that sums it up for PoDD, it's one of the most awesome games to play, just because it got its own feeling to it, it's also pretty hard, you might want to play it for yourself to even get a grasp of it. :P
