VTOL VR is about as special as it is awesome. It's blend of simplicity and complexity kind of fills that void left behind by games like A-10 Attack or any of the Novalogic games (EG: F-22 Lighting 3). Well worth the price of admission. Doubly so with the addition of multiplayer and steam workshop support about 9 months back.

What's also worth the price of admission is the AH-94 DLC which gives you a fully featured attack helo ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶a̶b̶s̶o̶l̶u̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶m̶u̶l̶l̶e̶r̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶S̶A̶M̶ ̶s̶i̶t̶e̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ to toy around with. What's even more awesome is the multiplayer support for mulitcrew allowing you to take a gunner along for the ride. Even a quarter-way decent gunner makes life a lot easier as trying to go offensive while dancing AA is easier said than done.
