So, a major early game change I've made from my Hard series is that I'm not crafting Lacerators this time around; I only used them the last time because I didn't realize when I started the walkthrough that those extra blueprints were DLC content that not everyone would have.

It won't make much difference in the long run (since comparable weapons start popping up around survivor rank 5-6), but it basically means I'll be avoiding direct confrontation with zombies early on even more so than before.

It also means I'll want to level up even faster early on, hence why I go straight for the EXPcalibur for the 3000 points (I don't bother waiting for the blueprint, though, since I'm not going to use it). Plus, I'll probably be running through some of the early missions in a somewhat different order, as well as being more methodical about how/when I turn in disaster relief packages.

One thing that's both a blessing and a curse is that zombies seem to come after you from farther away now, so you can clear out about 3/4 of the zombies around the two car traps using just the electrified water trap, instead of needing to run around using gas tanks and spikes to take most of them out.

Holy hell are goons serious damage sponges now, though.
