This time we pay a visit to Trashcan Carla and the Drumlin Diner to stock up on various goodies, then we clear out the Starlight Drive-in next door and do some preliminary setting up there. After that, we start making our way toward Graygarden.
I also get my first Legendary here (a Chameleon Raider Left Arm, which isn't bad for this build, but not ideal since it can't be Shadowed).
With a bit of effort, it's possible to squeeze 3 industrial water purifiers into the small pond in the middle of the Starlight Drive-in. While that'll only get you ~80-90 purified water per cycle (unless you make a bunch of water pumps to boost it further), that's still good enough to take over to Trudy to make some purchases, or just to restock.
Starlight Drive-in is also a reasonably central location for much of the game, so it's not a bad candidate to make into your "main" base.
