Walk Souls is a commentary on the levels and spaces of Souls-like games, focused on the feeling of walking as it pertains to travelling through, within, around, near, towards, away from spaces (buildings, fields, caves, etc) within the game.

Because plenty of more exciting footage is out there, Walk Souls avoids combat footage (of bosses and enemies) unless it is particularly relevant to some observation on the area, and will try to stick to an under-15-minute format as of episode 04-Dark Souls II !

EPISODE DESCRIPTION
-------------------

Lost Bastille bonfire 1 to bonfire 3 (through the initial area up to past the main boss). Ruin Sentinels is the boss here

NOTES
---------

Lost Bastille offers many subtle (as in not heavily telegraphed by unique landmarks) views into previous andfuture areas you visit, but requires a lot of observation.

There's an outer area that feels safe - not easy to drop off of, then an alley-feeling area reminiscient of the city. After that we have spaces sandwiched between mountain heights and the bastille walls, as well as inner tower-like spaces and prison motifs of bars to be raised, and a second prison area whose ceiling is much flatter. Finally there's the open boss room with multiple stories within.

lost bastille is a nice example so far of combining various kinds of space-feels from real life into another area, accidentally or not. - climbing down from a wall into a court yard, climbing up stairs, crossing small bridges and fearing a fall, and having a tower in the distance to reach, all help give a sense of place. all ended by a familiar dining-hall feelng place with the 3rd bonfire.
