WALL-E is a movie that needs no introduction. It is a beautiful movie with a great Romance with Robots, Amazing animation and Visuals, great story and score. But, we're obviously here to talk about the movie tie-in game and not the movie right now. Like Ratatouille, the game released on every console at the time, so there's a bunch of different versions of the game made by different people. I will be playing the versions developed by Asobo Studio which was released on PC, MAC, PS2 & PSP, specifically the PC version.

I think that the game is pretty good, but it is pretty flawed. For positives, The music is pretty good (and it's helped by the fact that the composer is someone who composed other Pixar stuff), the controls and mechanics work pretty well, I like the variety in the gameplay, so the game doesn't become stale, the puzzles are good even though it's pretty simplistic, the graphics are very pretty to look at, especially on PC and I like the level design in the levels. For the negatives, The Mini-Games aren't that good, the BnL Doors Puzzles get repeated a little too much and don't get any harder, the pacing is all over the place which can make levels a bit repetitive, though it's mostly a problem near the end of the game, and the game has a lot of filler levels that just needlessly added padding, though again it's mostly a problem near the end of the game. Though, I still think the game is solid, but it could be a bit better.

The first 2 levels are tutorials for the main gameplay. There isn't much going on in both levels, but they do a good job teaching the player how to play the game in a fun way.

For this playthrough, I played the PC version using the 2015 Steam Re-Release.
