0Watching our earlier Apex videos, around the time that Cholo brought it up with Patrick and they ended up playing for endless hours, is like having really bad war flashbacks.
Apex Legends is Respawn's take on the Battle Royale formula. Set in the Titanfall universe, the game pits 20 three-man teams against each other on a map called King's Canyon. Much like other battle royale games, players must scour the map and pick up weapons, upgrades, armour, and ammo. There is also a closing ring mechanic which reduces the playable area until all combatants are near each other. Unlike other battle royale games, Apex Legends has players choosing from a pool of Legends, each with their own unique abilities ranging from calling in carpet bombings to granting them vision of the enemy.
